It may be January, but that doesn’t mean Buffalonians hibernate. Here are sosoupfestme fun food and drink festivals taking place this weekend:

Buffalo Soup Fest: January 28th at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center. Join 5,000 friends and 30 restaurants while sampling over 75 different soups all in one place.

Buffalo Wine and Chocolate Festival:January 28th at the Adam’s Mark Hotel. Wineries and wine enthusiasts from across the region will gather for an unlimited sampling of fabulous wines of all styles. Sample and savor your favorites and choose the tastiest ones to buy and bring home. Enjoy delicious chocolate and fabulous gourmet treats, and dip into the chocolate fountain! All wine samplers get a comwine-and-chocolate-festivalmemorative wine glass, and designated drivers/under 21’s get a coffee mug.

Buffalo Groundhog Day: January 28th at Flying Bison Brewery. The fourth annual Buffalo Groundhog Day celebration from noon to 4 p.m. Ticket includes entry, two beers of your choice from Flying Bison Brewing Company, a commemorative Buffalo Groundhog Day mug, a $5 voucher to an on-site food truck of your choice and live music.

Niagara Falls Ice Wine Festival: January 27th-29th at the Scotia bank Convention Center. Just over the border, enjoy some tasty and sweet Ice Wines from around the Ontario region. There will be winery tours, ice skating and more. niagara-ice-wine-fest
